Does anyone know where the oil drain plug is on a GMC Jimmy?

I've been looking all over and I cannot find a picture telling me exactly where it is on this SUV. I change oil all the time on my Camry, but unsure where it is on a non-4x4 GMC Jimmy (6 cyl).

Any ideas? Yes, I'll change the filter too.

Also, can the filter be changed while the oil plug is in after the fact., or does all oil need to be drained before changing the filter?Does anyone know where the oil drain plug is on a GMC Jimmy?
On the oil pan. To ensure oil oil and gunk doesnt get into the new, it's best to drain the oil, remove the old filter, and before putting on the plug or new filter, run a bottle of new oil into it to help flush out the gunk. Then replace the plug and filter and refill.Does anyone know where the oil drain plug is on a GMC Jimmy?
Go to the dealer and pay for an oil change--then while it is up on the rack--ask the questions and pay attention to what the mechanic says--then you will have all the info you want
The oil plug should be on the back of the oil pan. You can change the filter at anytime,as long as you have not added the new oil.
same place as on the camry. on the lowest point of the oil pan on the engine and you can the filter any time when you are doing the oil change job
Should be at the bottom of the oil pan. Sorry. I don't know of any pictures. Yes, the filter can be changed before the plug is removed as long as you DO NOT start the engine after you install the new filter. Doing so would fill the new filter with the used oil, so you'll be fine as long as you dont' start the vehicle.
