WRX leaking oil from drain plug?

I had a leaking drain plug which was missing the gasket. I replaced it and it is still leaking just a little. What should I do?WRX leaking oil from drain plug?

WHat did you replace the gasket with? If it is not a material rated for oil, it will leak.

Try using a copper crush gasket. These can be obtained at any auto or hardware store.

If this does not work, the threads of the plug or hole may be an issue. Yuu can replace the plug bolt as well.

If none of these provide a solution, the pan may be bent, or the plug hole threads may be damaged. If you do not want to replace your oil pan, you can tap the threads out to a larger plug.
Did you replace the whole drain plug or just the gasket? Either way that should have taken care of your problem. If you haven't replaced the plug then I'd do that and make sure it's snug. Maybe the threads are messed up a little bit and are not allowing the plug to get completely tight. You could run a thread chaser just to make sure that the threads are ok.
