Lol........yes you need to get under the truck.
You will find it some where on the pan.
Looks like a big bolt head.
Just remember to Tightly ';Snug'; it back when done draining the oil. Don't strip it, or major problems can happen thenI cant find the oil drain pan or drain plug on 00 ford ranger. please advise.?
Slide under the car and its the bolt in the bottom of the oil pan.
