Oil leak from motorcycle drain plug?

I changed the oil on my CBR about 300 miles ago. I replaced the crush washer on the drain plug as well. Ever since then there has been a slow leak of oil from the drain plug. Wherever I park the bike overnight there will always be a puddle of oil right under the plug, and the plug is also slick to the touch. How can I fix this?Oil leak from motorcycle drain plug?
There maybe a bit of debri (dirt) under the washer. Then it wont seal right even with a new washer. Next oil change, make sure the surfaces are clean. It would be rare that the plug or the base may have a nick large enough cause the leak.Oil leak from motorcycle drain plug?
You may have to get an over-sized self tapping plug and replace the one you have there. Also, you might want to consider something like this: http://www.fumotovalve.com
Plumbers' teflon thread tape. From your local hardware store.
did you check to see if the drain plug gasket is on the plug?if its gone, maybe you could either make a gasket or buy one.
