Where is the oil drain plug located on a 4.3 mercruiser inboard engine?

It will be on the bottom of the oil pan. If there is very little room under the engine to drain the oil, it can make a real mess. Most boaters I know use an oil change pump to suck the oil and sludge out of the dipstick tube. The pumps come in two styles, electric and manual. See the source links below. Don't forget to change the oil filter as well. I hope this helps!Where is the oil drain plug located on a 4.3 mercruiser inboard engine?
Matters what year you got

do not drain it out the boat please!

If it is a 1998 or newer you will have a drain hose

if not, you must suck it from the dipstick tubeWhere is the oil drain plug located on a 4.3 mercruiser inboard engine?
