Can anyone tell me where can I locate the Engine Oil drain plug in 1996 Saab SE Turbo Hatchback and Oil Filter?
I dont have the owners manual and am thinking of changing oil myself.
Thanks a lotSaab 1996 SE Turbo - Location of Oil drain plug?
As of the 90's, a lot of car makers stopped adding oil drains on the pans. That was the case with my 96 Thunderbird I don't know definitely about Saab, but if you do not see it on the bottom of the deepest part of the pan, it does not have one. The typical method of draining is a siphon like device that sucks it all out. But, if you have a bit of time on your hands one day, you can modify your oil pan and add a drain. You just have to drop the pan and drill a small hole
This kit will work and will also work for transmission pans

since you do not know, i will suggest that you contact a garage or dealership
it has to be on the bottom of the oil pan, oil filter should be easy enough to find
